We are a group of UBC students from diverse faculties, backgrounds, and perspectives who share one core belief:

Student government should serve students.

We believe the AMS works best when it focuses on:

  • Strengthening campus life
  • Supporting academic opportunities
  • Representing the broad diversity of students at UBC

This referendum asks the AMS to take an institutional position on a complex international issue by severing formal academic ties with Israeli universities.

We believe that approach would narrow academic collaboration and shift student government away from its core mandate: serving students here on campus.

Our position is simple:

Students First. Keep the Focus Here.

We are committed to protecting academic opportunities, fostering an inclusive campus environment, and ensuring student leadership stays focused on practical student priorities.
